There are perhaps only a handful of people in the world who are able to rise above their circumstances and walk towards their goal with a singular ambition. Such people become an example and inspiration to the society and one such example is the story of Christopher Richard.
Christopher’s humble beginnings
Christopher Richard was born to a very ordinary family in Bangalore. Having lost his father, who was the main bread winner of the family at an early age, Christopher took to the work of delivering newspapers for a mere sum of 120 Rupees. His mother who worked as a primary school teacher earned no more than 1500 rupees a month.
To eke out a living, Christopher began to work at two different jobs by the time he completed his tenth standard. Throughout his higher secondary years too, Christopher continued through the odd jobs while studying at the same time. Overcome by the circumstances, Christopher gave up formal education after that and perhaps that was in his best interest.
The turning point
It was around this time, that Christopher came across a short term computer course and joined it. Computer turned out to be his real calling and he even began teaching at an institute while learning new programming languages himself.
New Ventures
So good was his hold over IT and technology that he soon found himself as a consultant for business analytics and intelligence. There were scarcity of such talented people and he eventually saw a very heavy demand from the companies including that of IBM, Wipro, Accenture and the like. From earning merely 3000 rupees a day, Christopher was earning at least Rs. 75000 at that point.

Though Christopher liked to give his personal attention to each client, the demands were so high that he had to ultimately acquire a team for himself. He named it the CR BI consultancy. However soon he merged another company forming the G7 CR technologies. Today the company works with prestigious names such as Microsoft who depend upon them for cloud solutions. The company has many other clients in the Tier I cities.
However ambitious as Christopher is, he already has his plans to carry out expansions in the Tier II cities. Looking at Christopher’s hard work and determination it is sure that endless success is waiting in way for him.
