- Indra Nooyi
At present, Indra Nooyi is serving as one of the directors in Amazon. She is the former CEO and president of Pepsi Co.
She has done her Master’s in Public Management from Yale University and in Finance and Marketing from IIM, Kolkata. She has been awarded Padma Bhushan for her achievements.
- Kiran Mazumdar Shaw
Kiran Mazumdar Shaw is the CMD of Biocon Limited, a biopharmaceutical firm in Bangalore.
She has a Bachelors’s degree in Zoology from Bangalore University and a postgraduate degree in Brewing and Malting from Melbourne University. She is also a board member in ISB and IIT Hyderabad. She was ranked India’s 54th richest person and 65th powerful women in the world.
- Indu Jain
She is the chairperson of Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd., the largest media group in India.
The company owns ‘Times of India’ and other reputed newspapers. Indu Jain received Padma Bhushan in 2016. She is also a spiritualist, educationist, and humanist. She had a net worth of USD 3.1 billion as per Forbes listing in 2015.
- Vandana Luthra
Vanda Luthra is the Chairperson of Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC) and is the founder of VLCC, a beauty and wellness clinic.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Polytechnic for Women and went to France, UK, and Germany for further studies. She won the Padma Shri award in 2013.
- Priya Paul
Priya Paul is the Chairperson of Park APJ Surendra Park Hotels.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wellesley College in the US. At the age of 51, she is still considered as one of India’s most influential women. She was awarded Padma Shri in 2012 by the Indian government.
- Ritu Kumar
Ritu Kumar is a famous Indian fashion designer primarily known for bridal wear and evening formals.
Currently, she owns more than 35 high-end stores all over India and also operates in cities like New York and France. She studied at Lady Irwin College and studied Art History from Briarcliffe College New York and won Padma Shri in 2013.
- Suchi Mukherjee
Suchi Mukherjee is the CEO of Limeroad, an online clothing and lifestyle accessories brand.
Previously, she has been a part of companies like eBay, Skype, and Gumtree. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and earned a Master’s degree in finance and economics from the London School of Economics.
- Shahnaz Husain
Shahnaz Husain is the founder of the largest herbal cosmetics brand, Shahnaz Herbals Inc.
Currently, the company owns more than 400 franchise clinics spread across the world. She did her schooling from La Martiniere, went to Queen Mary’s College, Allahabad, and studied cosmetology and trichology in Tehran. She achieved Padma Shri in 2006.

At present, Naina Lal Kidwai is the Country Head and Group General Manager at HSBC, India.
In the past, she held senior positions in ANZ Grindlays, JM Morgan Stanley and Nestle SA. She studied economics from Delhi University and did her MBA from Harvard Business School. She received Padma Shri for her contributions.

Ekta Kapoor is the founder and creative head of Balaji Telefilms.
She revolutionized the face of Indian television and is a household name today. She is the brain behind many hit Indian daily soaps as well as films. In 2006, she received Hall of Fame award in Indian Telly Awards.
