Arpit Khandelwal- Co-founder of NeoDove

In our constant goal to discover and give our community a glimpse of the fascinating and original stories of the startup ecosystem this week, we had an Interview with Arpit Khandelwal, to learn more about his inspirational journey along with his ideas for the future.


1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey as an entrepreneur

For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about engineering. Now, the definition of engineering does not necessarily entail building massive structures or machines, rather it is about finding solutions to the problems at hand. Perhaps this is a cliché, but sometimes clichés are the best way to get your point across. From my days in school to graduating from IIT Bombay to my time as a member of Ola’s Core Team and other renowned companies to directing my family-owned dealerships to co-found NeoDove, I have always approached problems strategically and found solutions.

My entrepreneurial journey has been incredible and what’s most amazing is that today Ankit, NeoDove’s co-founder, and I are living out our idea. We have a great team by our side, investors, and customers that trust us, and most importantly, we get to do what we love.



2. What is the vision behind it?

Before founding NeoDove, I led my family’s automobile dealerships and Ankit was a Tech Lead at CarDekho. In our experience working with various businesses across different industries, we found that a solution that specifically catered to the telecalling and sales engagement processes was lacking.
NeoDove, a telecalling CRM and sales engagement platform, was created to address this lack of a suitable solution. Helping businesses realize and experience the full potential of telecalling, which goes far beyond just making calls, by implementing the right processes and technology has always been at the heart of NeoDove’s vision.

3. Describe the services that you offer to your customers and in what way they are unique?

What we offer is a Telecalling CRM and Sales Engagement platform that enables small and medium businesses across various industries to drive better results from their sales, marketing, and customer engagement efforts.
As I mentioned earlier, telecalling goes far beyond just making calls, it involves many different aspects such as lead management, distribution, task management, team reporting, and so on, each requiring a specific solution.
NeoDove serves as a unified platform for all these aspects. It comes with a variety of customizable features, including an autodialer, lead management system, multiple direct integrations, multichannel communication through instant WhatsApp, email, etc.
As for your second question, our flexible approach to delivering solutions, our product’s customizability and comprehensiveness, and the quality of our customer service are things that set us apart.

4. How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?

Stress or pressure, when allowed to build up to a healthy amount, acts as a good motivator to get things done. Take things one by one, and don’t overextend yourself by trying to consume everything at once. However, if things do go beyond a certain level, it is important to know that there is always a way out, you just have to weigh your options carefully.

5. How many hours a day do you work on average & can you describe/outline your typical day?

Working around the clock is pretty much my normal routine. It’s difficult not to love what I do! My days are packed with meetings, I work closely with every department, brainstorm ideas, work on strategies, plan their implementation, evaluate the current state, and share jokes, of course. I have to be at my son’s beck and call as well, so yeah, that’s another very important business.

6. In your opinion what are the keys to success?

Discipline is something I value highly. When you work, you should work, when you party, you should party to the fullest, and so on. To add more, I attribute success to discipline, prioritization, perseverance, and patience.

7. What advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring entrepreneur?

The world has so much to offer that one should not confine themselves to their field of expertise. Taking up things that fascinate you, deeply or merely, doesn’t matter. Don’t put it off, don’t wait for things to happen.
