We invited Swapna S from Franchise4sure Pvt Ltd for an interview with Most Popular Stories to know more about her entrepreneurial journey.
1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey as an Entrepreneur
My name is Swapna S, born and brought up in Bangalore. I’m a post graduate (MBA). I am a mother of 2 angels. I started my entrepreneurial journey last year along with my husband by starting up our own company called “Franchise4sure Pvt Ltd“. Since then, Life has been amazing & exciting as an entrepreneur. There’s so much to learn, discover and implement in day to day business. Each day is a new learning, new experiences and new opportunities.
2. Why did you choose entrepreneurship over a job?
At work, I’m restricted in Decision making, Implementing New ideas and My Schedules would be pre-decided by the management. Being entrepreneur is an identity that we create to the outside world, I have all the freedom to decide and schedule my time for better future.
I chose to be an entrepreneur for two main reason:
a. As an entrepreneur, I can take 100% responsibility for my growth. I will be able create my own legacy. This is impossible in regular jobs. I didn’t want somebody else to decide my future.
b. If I stop working for the company, my earnings stops there. However, In Business If we strategize well and we can automate the process and grow the business.
3. What was the vision behind it?
To encourage and build entrepreneurs across Pan India through franchising and contribute to our economy’s growth and higher income.
4. Describe the services that you offer to your customers and in what
way they are unique?
So many of us want to experience entrepreneurship. However, people fear for risk, failure & challenges. We provide franchise opportunities which is “Tested & Proven” method of business. So, one can experience entrepreneurship with high level of confidence.
5. What difficulties which you have faced or you are facing?
The first and foremost was to get the whole system structured at the beginning and finding right candidates to kick start the process.
6. How do you handle the pressure and manage stress?
A cup of coffee with a positive outlook over my company’s vision gets me out of stress and inspires me to reach new heights.
7. How do you market your business?
Through Digital Marketing Platform, Email campaigns, SMS Blast and Word of Mouth.
8. How many hours a day do you work on average & can you
describe/outline your typical day?
During Initial days I used to spend long hours i.e., 12-14 hrs and now I have the freedom to work at my convenient time.
I start my day at 5am by Meditation, Journaling and Cooking. During work hours, Business planning, Frameworks, Delegating of work, Leads status check and Business Expansion plans.
9. In your opinion what are the keys to success?
Success begins when you let go of your self-limiting beliefs and come out of your comfort zone.
10. What advice would you give to someone starting out as an aspiring
entrepreneur?
Grab all the opportunities that comes your way and step forward to take challenges in life. Challenges makes you stronger and brings the better version of “Yourself”.
