The Enterprising Story Of Two Sister-Entrepreneurs

Indians are never into the healthy part when it comes to eating, but, Sunayana Hiran and Darshana Nahata, aged 40 and 39 years respectively have completely proved this wrong when they opened Enerjuvate Cafe in 2017. Both the sisters deliberated on this concept a year ago before the inception of Enerjuvate Cafe in 2016. The former has a sound understanding in managing logistics in the mining sector whereas the latter is assigned to look after the financial and operational functions of their budding start up. When asked the duo said that their foods are completely made out of healthy ingredients like spinach, ragi (millet), beetroots etc. unlike the various unhealthy options out there including refined flour sugar to name a few.

The price options which they have kept for their customers are quite pocket friendly as well. Aside their cafe, they also have a studio next to it which aims at merely entertaining people including shows by comedians, artists as well as culinary professionals. The duo has also successfully opened their second cafe in Koramangala, Bengaluru after their first cafe turned out to be a huge success. Prominent companies like Tata Coffee, Yahoo, Titan, H&M and BMC software are coming forward to encourage their endeavours, hence, are conducting a number of workshops with them on healthy eating as well.

Both Darshana and Sunayana started Enerjuvate Cafe with a capital of 70 to 80 lakhs and they had to invest at least 10 to 12 lakhs from there to pay the rent of their cafe. Besides, the remaining amount was spent on recruiting employees and interior decorations. Darshana also said that most of their food lovers are children rather than adults, for, they claim that their food is a perfect blend of good taste and health as well. On the top of all, both the cousins have already raked a turnover of 2 crores within a short span of two years from the time they began Enerjuvate Cafe.
