The Five Lavish Coffees

Coffee is cherished stuff, grown and consumed all over the world. It may not only help you feel more energized, burn fat, improve physical performance, but it may also decrease your risk of developing several health conditions. Many people choose coffee as their preferred budget beverage. Someone has perfectly quoted, “A good morning starts with a good coffee.”  The right cup of coffee should fulfil our tastes and be a fulfilling experience.

Perfect coffee requires a lot of effort. A perfect one includes the ability to make a person high on caffeine, which only a true coffee lover would know about. World-class coffee comes from high-quality beans and unique processing methods. This type of coffee is known both for its unique flavour and aroma and for its high price tag. These exotic coffee beans come from the waste of elephants, cats, and other animals, which makes them very effective for roasting and ready to go. The reason for the price difference in varieties of coffee is largely due to the higher production cost making certain types of coffee far more expensive than an average, ordinary variety. Only a few regions around the world grow or process these beans on a small scale. And for these expensive goods, quality matters more than quantity.

KOPI LUWAK –  $100 to $600/POUND:

Kopi Luwak, or as it is best known, “Toddy Cat Poop Coffee,” is well known all over the world due to its unique and natural processing method. This world’s smoothest coffee beans are fed to civets who process the beans in their digestive tract, thereby removing their bitterness and produced on the Indonesian islands of Java, Bali, and Sulawesi. The price for a pound ranges from $100 to $600.

ST. HELENA- $80/8.8 OUNCE:

Besides its high quality, St. Helena is considered an interesting coffee because of its origin in the volcanic island of St. Helena in the South Atlantic Ocean. It’s made from an exclusive green-tipped Arabica bean, unique to Yemen. It is hard to grow and process and is known for its subtle flavour and delicacy and thus is the ‘Pinot Noir’ of International coffee. Some of Starbucks’ coffee is made with these. A bag of 8.8 ounces costs $80.

BLACK IVORY- $1,500/POUND:

Competition for this coffee comes from Black ivory coffee from Thailand, which is regularly priced at $1,500/pound. As with many luxury coffees (see above), the process is not always appealing. When the beans pass through the digestive tracts of elephants, they are activated by enzymes that give them their smooth, flavorful texture. Elephants tend to break down the beans, making the process a very complicated one. However, the result is a coffee widely regarded as both the most expensive and most prized on earth.

ESMERALDA SPECIAL-$350/POUND:

In western Panama, Esmeralda Special coffee is harvested at the Hacienda La Esmeralda farm on Mount Baru. There are numerous awards for the high quality of this fruity and floral liqueur. The farm carefully picks and processes the coffee. A pound of this coffee now costs $350.

There is a secret behind these expensive coffees: evolution and persistence. These goods are worth the processing time and the effort taken to produce them manually. Luxury brands aren’t always accessible to all since there are fewer of them. Even though they are very different from a regular one, these are definitely meant to be celebrated. Even having just a gulp of this pricey stuff is worth the money for the coffee lovers of the world.
